The Mission Statement of SEARCH for Christian Maturity is to draw youth into a richer experience of God by encountering God and His love in new ways and being equipped to be sent out into the world as a disciple of Christ. 

SEARCH for Christian Maturity is a weekend retreat experience sponsored by the Catholic Bismarck Diocese. The weekends are for any HIGH SCHOOL or COLLEGE age person, must be at least 15 years old.  Although the program is rooted and backed by the Catholic Church, it is open to young people of any denomination or creed.

Search weekends are held 5 times throughout the year and are held at the Badlands Ministries Camp just south of Medora, ND.  The camp is located in a quiet remote setting of the North Dakota Badlands and provides a great opportunity to unplug from the daily rush and just get away.  It is an opportunity to think, talk, question and wonder about life and faith in an accepting and challenging environment.   It is an opportunity to experience God and God’s family in a personal and real way.

The weekend is very youth and peer orientated.  It is run by youth, to youth, and for youth, under the guidance of a team of adult mentors.  Cost for the weekend is $75 all inclusive.  There is a scholarship available for those in need to cover this cost.  The retreats start on Friday evening and run through Sunday afternoon.  Come and experience a great weekend with us and see what God has in store for you.

SEARCH for Christian Maturity is an incredible experience and gives youth a glimpse at the beauty of many different vocations, including religious life, priesthood, single life, and marriage.  The talks given about each of these are often weekend favorites.
